Personally, I wasn't necessarily a programming enthusiast right from the start; it gradually developed through exposure and experience. By now, it has become a passion and an indispensable part of my life (passionate about making money 🤑).
Programming is a long and enduring journey, so passion is something indispensable for every programmer. It would be a hellish experience if you engage in this game without passion or at least interest. Moreover, knowledge is a precious "asset" that programmers continuously "exploit" throughout their journey, as there exists a fun yet profound formula:
Lack of understanding + Enthusiasm = Destruction

Founding Developer — Skinexa (Mar 2026 - Present)
Building Exa AI, an AI-driven, science-backed skincare platform that uses proprietary algorithms and genetic profiling to diagnose dermatological conditions and deliver personalized, sustainable regimens for 4,000+ users.
- Architected a scalable full-stack platform (TypeScript, Next.js) and engineered an AI-driven skincare agent leveraging Dify workflows and RAG architectures.
- Provisioned cloud infrastructure on AWS with Terraform, automated CI/CD pipelines, and real-time monitoring for high availability.
- Partnered with the Founder to translate dermatological research into the technical roadmap, product vision, and core system design.
Senior Software Engineer — Saola Labs (Mar 2025 - Feb 2026)
- Biotoken — Designed and built a tokenization engine for Singaporean patients' health data and a companion mobile app for SingHealth, with secure FHIR/OpenEHR APIs, hardware-linked pill reminders, and RSA/AES encryption following OWASP standards.
- BidUp — Engineered a high-concurrency, real-time bidding engine (Redis, BullMQ) for a live-streaming auction e-commerce startup, integrating Agora.io and shipping zero-downtime deployments on AWS.
Senior Software Engineer / Technical Lead — Infina (Sequoia-backed, YC S21) (Jan 2022 - Feb 2025)
Led engineering on Infina, a retail-investing fintech app known as the "Robinhood of Vietnam".
- Spearheaded a team of 4 engineers to deliver a high-frequency trading system and microservices supporting 100,000+ retail investors — earning a promotion and the Product Director's Award of Excellence.
- Engineered the "Infina AI" chatbot using LLMs and Zalo OA to deliver real-time market insights.
- Optimized cross-cloud operations (AWS, GCP), reduced cloud costs, and integrated with institutions like Dragon Capital, PVI, and Kafi.
Full Stack Engineer — Cybozu Vietnam (Oct 2019 - Dec 2021)
Built developer-platform and enterprise groupware features for Garoon using RESTful and JavaScript APIs, modernized legacy architecture, and optimized complex SQL queries.
